European wolf - Luna

Born 1997 in Romania
Luna was one of the original European wolves imported by the UKWCT in 1998. She was the alpha female and mated with Apollo in 1999, giving birth to six pups, Alba, Lunca and Latea being three of them.

She left the Trust in 2000, travelling to Wildwood in Kent along with Athena and Apollo. At Wildwood she had two several litters, before being given contraception from 2002 onwards. She died in 2004 from injuries sustained in pack politics.
