European wolf - Athena

Born 1997 in Romania
Athena was one of three European wolves imported by the UKWCT from the Continent in 1998. She was the beta female of the original European pack and was transferred to Wildwood in 2000. She went on to breed with Apollo and helped Luna raise pups for three years running.

Eventually she assumed the Omega position and, under increasing hostility from the rest of the pack, was sent with two of her daughters to a wildlife centre in Norfolk.
