Schools
The UKWCT subscribes to the Excellence in Enjoyment scheme and encourages school children to come out of the classroom to interact with the natural world around them; after all they are the conservationists of tomorrow. Where better than at the UK Wolf Conservation Trust centre near Reading, Berkshire
The school programme is linked to the national curriculum and can cover many subjects including, science, English, maths, history, art and photography.
There are a wide range of options and prices. These include wolf and non wolf contact events. The Trust can accommodate groups of up to 30 and only has one school on site at a time making the visit really special for the children.
We've put together a list of the most frequently asked questions regarding visits for schools.
If you can’t come to the centre one of the Trust’s education officers can come to your school to talk to the children (within a 40 mile radius of the centre)
Available to download for free is our schools pack containing all sorts of information about wolves, teachers references and interactive handouts..
